Are Well Being Coaching and Therapy the same?
No.
Coaching is a partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
Therapy emphasizes psychopathology, emotions, and the past in order to understand the present.
Clients can choose to work with both a coach and a therapist to understand their past and move confidently toward their future.
Will you tell me what to do?
I believe in autonomy- You are the expert and the authority in and of your life. Only you know what best for you and your life not me. I will partner with you to facilitate change and assist in the transformation process. I can provide suggestions, education, and feedback when appropriate.
Well Being Coaching & Mental Health
I am not a licensed clinician however, I do work with individuals that want to improve anxiety, happiness, stress, self-love, quality of life, resilience, the list is endless. While this is NOT therapy, I do offer support strategies and education on mental health topics to facilitate the transformation process.
What do you discuss in a Well Being Coaching Session?
Whatever you want. I am here to facilitate whatever behavioral changes you want to make. We will work together as a team brainstorming and set goals. I will hold you accountable for those goals, check in on what went well, celebrate successes, and troubleshoot any obstacles or challenges you experienced.
What if I want to work on multiple areas of well being?
No worries, I got you. Most of my clients work on more than one area at a time. In fact, clients often see progress in multiple areas when only focusing on one. I call this the ripple effect.
* I recommend that you sign up for the 6 month package if you want to work on multiple areas of well being.
